Short Bio:
Yeongchan Kim earned his M.S. in nuclear engineering from Texas A&M University in the summer of 2020. He worked with Dr. Sunil Chirayath on a project using MCNP to estimate hold-up in uranium enrichment facilities. Kim is a Captain in the Republic of Korea Army. His previous assignment was as the 1st platoon leader of the engineer combat battalion of the 3rd infantry division. After graduation from Texas A&M University, he will serve as a radiologist at CBRPC (Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Protection Command). He received his Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Korean Military Academy in 2015.
