Short Bio:
Isa Alsaqer currently works as a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) defense officer in the Bahrain Defense Force. He graduated with a Master of Science degree in nuclear engineering with a nonproliferation specialization under the supervision of Dr. Sunil Chirayath from Texas A&M University in fall of 2022. He graduated from the Military Technical College in Egypt with a BSc. in chemical engineering in 2011. Alsaqer’s research focused on radiation assessments for the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf in case of a hypothetical accident or leakage from a local nuclear power plant in the area (Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in UAE).
