Short Bio:

Ms. Kelley Ragusa serves as the Assistant Director of Outreach and Development for the Nuclear Security Science and Policy Institute (NSSPI) at Texas A&M University. In this role, she oversees capacity-building programs and promotes NSSPI’s mission, working to expand its impact and reach. Ms. Ragusa develops online courses for the Nuclear Security and Safeguards Education Portal (NSSEP), manages NSSPI’s professional certificate programs, organizes on-site training events, and provides logistical and communications support for the Nuclear Facilities Experience. She plays a key role in business development and proposal writing, as well as producing promotional materials and creating and maintaining web resources to enhance NSSPI’s online presence. She is also responsible for the development and delivery of cybersecurity industry certification training for the Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center. Since joining NSSPI in 2008, she has held various roles, including instructional designer, engineering senior information specialist, communications coordinator, and website designer. Between 2015 and 2019, she additionally supported the Nuclear Power Institute, contributing to the institute’s IAEA training initiatives and Online Nuclear Technology Certificate program. Ms. Ragusa holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1999) and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas A&M University (1997). Before joining NSSPI, she gained extensive experience in education, instructional technology, information technology, and training.
