Bio

Dr. Shreyas Kumar is a Professor of Practice in Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University whose work focuses on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and the protection of critical infrastructure. His research examines cyber threats to nuclear and energy systems, secure autonomous defense, cyber-physical risk, and the resilience of high-consequence environments. He brings more than 22 years of industry experience, including leadership roles at Adobe, Oracle, Uber, and as Chief Information Security Officer at Deserve. His work aligns closely with NSSPI’s mission by addressing the convergence of nuclear security, cyber risk, cyber warfare, emerging technologies, and the protection of critical systems against evolving state and nonstate threats.
