Bio

Ben Sarawichitr graduated in December 2022 with a Master of Science in nuclear engineering with a specialization in nuclear nonproliferation from Texas A&M University. For his thesis research, Sarawichitr developed a localization algorithm to locate holdup within a glovebox using a technique called True-Range Multilateration (TRM), which was originally used for wifi localization, as part of a project with Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). His thesis advisor was Dr. Craig Marianno. Sarawichitr also earned his Bachelor of Science in nuclear engineering with minors in physics and radiological health engineering from Texas A&M in 2020. He has been working for LANL since October 2022 as an R&D Engineer for NPI-9, the Non-Destructive Assay and Vault Operations Group. Upon graduation he will continue his work at LANL.
