Summarizing Results and Developing Action Plan

In the last stage of the self-assessment process, the self-assessment team communicates their findings to the upper management of the organization as a final report. The final report serves as a resource for crafting key messages and action plans, as well as a starting point for future assessments.

The self-assessment team should also plan to hold a meeting in which the highlights of the findings are presented directly to the management, and they should join with the management to communicate the report's findings to the staff. There should also be opportunities for staff to discuss and debate the findings of the report, emphasizing the notion that nuclear security at the facility depends on everyone's involvement.

Drawing on the findings of the final report, the management should work to develop an action plan for improving nuclear security culture in the organization,
