NSSPI Faculty members Dr. Sunil Chirayath and Dr. Craig Marianno
received Outstanding Faculty Awards from the TAMU Nuclear
Engineering Department at their 2012 Annual Awards Banquet.
The banquet was held on April 30 in the Bethancourt Family Grand
Ballroom of the newly reopened Memorial Student Center on campus.
The awards were given by interim Department Head Dr. Yassin Hassan
to acknowledge the contribution of Chirayath and Marianno to
scholarship within the department. This is the first year that the
department has recognized faculty with an internal award.
